Cylinder for automatic window opener

Ventilating the greenhouse is very important. The Royal Well Automatic Window Opener ensures this happens, even when you’re not around. After a few years, the cylinder will need to be replaced.

The window opens automatically in response to the temperature inside the greenhouse and closes when necessary. According to the manual, the cylinder supplied can be adjusted so that the greenhouse opens earlier (at a lower temperature) or later, at a higher temperature. The temperature control operates in increments of approximately 0.5 degrees Celsius.

If the temperature drops to such an extent that the window no longer needs to be opened (during the winter months), or if a heater or other heat source is being used in the greenhouse, the cylinder can easily be removed (temporarily). To ensure the cylinder remains in working order, it is recommended that you insulate it or store it indoors during periods of frost. The cylinder supplied is responsible for the operation of the window opener and has a service life of several years. After this, the cylinder can be replaced separately.
